PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

Penhall Company was contracted by Tait Environmental to saw cut and remove 27 cubic yards of concrete at the Palisades Ski Resort in Olympic Village, CA. This high-altitude project required:

  • Precision Saw Cutting & Removal: Utilizing a Husqvarna 4600 Flat Saw and skid steer with a grapple bucket
  • Safe Material Transport: Carefully navigating steep, winding roads to move debris safely
  • High-Altitude Challenges: Working at 8,000 feet elevation with limited site access
  • Underground Tank Excavation Prep: Clearing the concrete pad for the safe removal of a buried fuel tank
  • Strict Safety Measures: Completing the project ahead of schedule with zero safety incidents

Despite steep terrain and logistical obstacles, Penhall successfully executed the project with precision and efficiency.
