SUMMARY: The Penhall Company’s Grapevine, TX location is currently accepting applications for experienced concrete cutting flat saw & wall saw machine operators. This is a position that, through strong leadership, direction and proven standard operating procedures, can offer stability and respect within the concrete cutting and demolition industry. Exceptional candidates will have the ability to think creatively while making only justifiable changes to ensure a safe and predictable environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Cooperation with job site supervisors / customers
• Responsibility of job related paperwork, pre-task planning, and forewarning of changes to ensure safety
• Inspection, general maintenance, security and cleanliness of all company equipment
• Daily interaction with Penhall Company dispatch and management personnel
• Transportation, accurate use of and maintenance of Penhall Company equipment to include, but not limited to: diamond blades, flat saw, core drill, wall saw, jackhammer & small tools REQUIREMENTS: • Strong mechanical ability a must
• Ability to lift 45 or more pounds
• Must have clean MVR and maintain a positive driving record
• Proficiency with the following tools is required for this position; wall saw, core drill, flat saw.
• Because we are a service driven company, hours will vary based on customer needs.
• Opportunities for travel and/or overtime exist so open availability is a must.
• Must have 2-3 years of experience in the concrete cutting industry.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
• Soft demolition experiences a plus.
• Commercial construction experience is preferred
• Forklift, Boom & Scissor lift, Bobcat experience a plus
• Class A CDL is not necessary but a plus |
